With the imminent release of FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION Square Enix decided to promote Episodes 1 and 2 of the REMAKE Trilogy to encourage fans to play the first two games… and collaborating with them to produce gameplay and live-action trailers has been a blast!
First up we created a gameplay based trailer using 3D text slates and a thumping lesser-known song from the game’s legendary soundtrack. This quickly went on to be Square Enix’s best performing trailer of the year.
Following the success of the Gameplay Trailer we followed up with a live action video to heighten the anticipation around the announcement of FFVII REVELATION. Set in the bedroom of one of a gang of gamers, one friend’s obvious excitement for the new game encourages the other two to seek out the prequels before it’s released.
