TRIALS OF FIRE is the first game from the rapidly growing new studio WHATBOY GAMES, an indie outfit headed by two stalwarts of the AAA industry determined to bring some of that triple-A polish to amazing indie games they have in their brains!
Very early in the development we were invited to create a video based on the game's concept art that set the atmospheric scene and told the story of this turn-based strategy game set in a post-cataclysmic fantasy realm. The video was also to be used as the opening movie in the game. This gave us the opportunity to flex our artistic muscle to produce a stirring and mood driven trailer announcing Whatboy and Trials of Fire to the world!
The game has gone on to be a fantastic success... with the fanbase ever growing!
